Today I will show you part of our Halloween and fall decor as part of the series
My house is small so I do not like to “over-accessorize” even for decorating for the seasons, but I like to accessorize just a little in every single room of the house, to give that “spirit of the season” that my family loves.
I like to decorate on the top of my kitchen cabinets.
The chalkboard there is usually used for the “value of the month” that we have each month. More about this in another post. In October we switch it for Halloween. The tomb stone, the skull and the white and black plates are from the dollar store, the pumpkins and the “trick or treat” sign and the poison plate are from Target and the “Bone Appetit” plate is from Kohls.
Here is some art by my kids.

This wreath was made by my mother-in-law using pine cones.
This here is in transition…
Wreath from Walmart and pumpkin decor from Gordmans
This bird looks kind of real…from the dollar store.
More to come! Have you shopped for costumes yet? Or do you make your own?
