Frozen Yogurt Pie

Fourth of July is tomorrow and since we spend it on the lake with the family I wanted to create a dessert to celebrate America’s birthday today for just us. I made up this recipe and it turned out really yummy. It is super easy and healthier than ice-cream. The kids loved the Sparklers on top!
Ingredients:

  • Vanilla flavored frozen yogurt
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 3/4 cup fat free vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • tablespoon sugar
  • blueberries
  • graham cracker pie crust
Steps:
  1. In a blender, mix strawberries, fat free yogurt, sugar and milk. Blend until it looks like a smoothie. I like some chunks in my mix!
Put it on top of the crust and freeze for a couple of hours

After it is frozen, add the frozen yogurt. It is better if it is a little soft so it can spread easier.

Freeze for about an hour and a half. Put fresh blueberries on top.

Here it is! Red white and blue!!!
